Modular Units

• The case is of modular type-one container size for 3,4,5&6 kVAr ratings, allowing easy assembly and parallel connection of various units to obtain compact capacitor banks with reactive power nearer the desired value

Features

• Housing made of a non-deteriorating high quality Polyamide insulating material, guaranteeing superior mechanical properties and absolute safety from any danger of Discharge to ground
• Shockproof, with no possibility of human contact with live parts, even in the event of a fault
• Inductor coils are provided for each phase to control switching inrush currents for 5 & 6kVAr units
• Discharge Resistors are provided internally in each capacitor unit in order to reduce the residual voltage to 50 volts or less within 60 sec

Installation

• Rustproof, the employed material does not breakdown even in very contaminated chemical and/or other atmospheric pollution agents
• Can be conveniently used in high humidity atmospheres
• Designed for vertical mounting
