THE PROCESSDRAWING/DESIGN
Computerized drawing facilities at the manufacturing unit saves time, increases efficiency and improves the quality of the work output.
Lisp programming in AutoCAD helps in speedy corrections to master drawings, aids in designing the size of the individual modules for Motor Control Centres, besides printing out the bill of materials.
FABRICATION
The client-approved drawings are taken up for manufacture, which starts with the fabrication of structure/panels by the hydraulic folding press. This versatile machine produces a wide variety of sections without specialized and expensive tooling. It also has the capacity to produce multiple bends in a single operation, thereby minimizing welding. The folding press helps meet time-bound, custom-built orders or multiple production schedules.
The Universal Nibbling Machine is capable of making high precision clean cut-outs, louvers and punched holes without warping of sheets. This is a definite advantage when it comes to faster production and time-bound delivery schedules.
7 TANK METAL TREATMENT
A rigorous treatment meted out to all sheet steel before manufacture. Each CRCA sheet undergoes thorough derusting-rinsing-degreasing-rinsing-phosphating-rinsing and then, passivation. This treatment also ensures preparation of sheet metal for excellent adhesion.
FINISHING
This state-of-the-art technology procedure includes-
Powder coating for better finish and a smoother surface with excellent coverage of corners and crevices. The process involves electrostatic spraying with powder and then oven-drying for and even, scratch-free and corrosion-resistant, aesthetically finished surface.
Assembling & testing of the finished panels. The panels are assembled; interconnected ad wired and is offered for testing & inspection. All switchboards are tested as per IS: 8623-1977 specifications.
THE PRODUCT
Switchboards are the nerve centres of electrical distribution systems. Be it the Steel, Sugar, Textile, Automobile or any industry.
Dhandapani switchboards offer a high degree of flexibility, economy and operational convenience.
The switchboards are fabricated out of cold rolled sheet steel. The front and rear doors fitted with neoprene gaskets and fasteners ensure that the equipment is dust-free. A front frame structure of folded sheet steel rigidly bolted together houses other components such as circuit breakers, sub-cubicles, main horizontal Bus Bars and other accessories that contribute to the weight of the equipment.
The Bus Bars are made of high conductivity aluminium alloy E 91E of IS: 5082 of adequate cross section to ensure low operating temperatures. All Dhandapani switchboards are suitable for maximum operating temperatures upto 110˚C. Bus Bars at higher ambient/low operating temperature can also be offered.
The switchboards are provided with adequate depth for cabling and termination.
All Dhandapani switchboards are extendable for future increased loads.
THE RANGE
Power Control Centres – installed for distribution of LT power at operational voltage of 415 V 50 Hz. Also dual power distribution boards (double Bus Bar system for EB and captive power).
Motor Control Centres – offered in fully draw-out and non-draw out types, in compartmentalised and non-compartmentalised version.
